Each Spring the scholarship recipients and civic leaders who support the club's activities are invited to a Spring Luncheon. GGC membership involvement in civic projects is recognized and new Club officers are installed. Members bring either a salad or dessert to the luncheon.
The Garden Club Council of Fort Worth holds it's annual Flowercade each Spring at the Moncrief Garden Center at the Botanic Garden Center, 3220 Botanic Garden Drive, Fort Worth. The Horticulture Specialty Flower Show and Educational Expo is open to the public for viewing at no charge. There is also a Market Day, with opportunities to purchase plants and gardening-related items.
The flower show will highlight horticulture and educational displays from members of the Garden Club Council of Fort Worth. The plants which have been grown successfully by participants offers the opportunity to view new varieties of horticulture specimens. Guests may evaluate plants to add to their own collection.
